El Balcon: Our new farm group in Fredonia

Last month we announced the Green Coffee Company’s acquisition of the “El Balcon” group of farms in Colombia’s Fredonia / Santa Barbara region.

This acquisition added 1,500,000 coffee trees to our production capacity. With it, we were able to continue our formal employment practices, creating new jobs and maintaining 90% of the farm’s existing employees. Additionally, we are implementing our advanced agronomy and technological improvements at the farms, bringing them up to GCC's high standards of excellence and efficiency.
